About the wine
We have a special, outstanding white wine from 2015 for you, which is a source of enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. The winemaker from the German winery F.J. Eifel is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this white wine, which originates in the picturesque landscape of the Mosel-Saar-Ruwer region. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Riesling with duck or Asian food.

Tasting note
A top-class Riesling. On the nose, the aromas of dried apples, citrus fruits and peaches inspire. Slight vegetable notes and a yeast tone combine very well with the fruit. On the palate, the wine again impresses with strong aromas of stone fruit and citrus with a present, lively acidity and slight tannin. Lots of bite on the palate with mineral notes and a delicately fruity, spicy aftertaste.

Vinification
The grapes for this Riesling grow on the steepest slopes of the Trittenheimer Apotheke. Often, roping is necessary during work steps in the vineyard due to the steepness. Of course, the reading is done by hand. The wine is vinified and aged with spontaneous yeast in Moselle fuder. Only fully ripe, late-picked grapes are used for the late harvest.
