About the wine
Chioccioli is a family business that was born out of a dream of the brothers Chioccioli Altadonna. Niccolò and Enrico, the sons of one of the world's most renowned and award-winning oenologists and agronomists Stefano Chioccioli, have dedicated their passion to researching and interpreting the area they have been associated with since childhood.

Tasting note
A wine with an exceptional identity, very intense and elegant. Refined, rich and complex with fruity notes of small black and red fruits combined with fresh spices from the undergrowth. Sweet, dense, voluminous, long and balanced tannins with fresh acidity that merges into long, intense fruity and spicy notes.
Vinification
Fermentation is carried out spontaneously with local yeasts in barrique barrels, with Altore also carrying out malolactic fermentation. After a long maceration on the skins, the wine is transferred back into barriques, where it is aged for 24 months. In addition, it matures in the bottle for at least 12 months before being released on the market.
