About the wine
The history dates back to the 19th century. Even the founders were ambitious and wanted to create a model for viticulture in southern Italy. This spirit is still felt today. In 2008, the Falvo family took over the 80-hectare winery and have since dedicated themselves passionately to the autochthonous varieties, including in the new Project Contrade. The wines have an expressive character, are steadfast yet charming and cosmopolitan.
Tasting note
The good girl - who is no longer one! Beautiful but not too loud bright red fruit, strawberries, even peaches, soft and rich but also cheeky, the self-confident attitude, the little resistance, those fresh, tart notes of Negroamaro, lots of life. Young, playful on the palate, not yet very firm, yet striving to be someone, a wonderful, refreshing conversation, without too much depth, yet with wit, the bright fruit is clear, gently mineral, earthy. Wonderfully fresh, tart rosé! Perfect for light, spicy summer cooking.
Vinification
Read and sort by hand. The temperature-controlled fermentation and maturation takes place in steel tanks.
