Tasting note
A fresh, not too heavy red with beautiful, floral, mineral and somewhat leathery notes. Fine, not too heavy structure, nice fresh fruit, subtle tannin. Enjoyable drinking fun!
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with tapas, pasta, risotto.
Vinification
The grapes are harvested in boxes of up to 12 kg and sorted out by hand when harvested by hand and again before destemming. The temperature-controlled fermentation in steel and concrete tanks takes an average of 15 to 17 days. Ageing: 12 months in medium roast barriques, of which 80% are French and 20% American oak. The barriques were previously used for one or two other wines.
