Tasting note
In bright light yellow with greenish reflections, it shows intense aromas of lime, pineapple and green pepper on the nose, which provide lively fruitiness. On the palate, it is balanced with a harmonious fruit acid and a melty texture that leaves a velvety mouthfeel. The aftertaste is long-lasting and fresh, making this verdejo an ideal companion for light, aromatic dishes.
Culinary recommendation
As a meal companion, we recommend it with sophisticated dishes such as poached fish or Mediterranean pasta variations.
Vinification
The grapes come from the vineyards of Bodegas Pedro Escudero in the Castilla y León region, more specifically from the D.O. Rueda. After harvesting, the grapes are brought to the winery as quickly as possible, where they are selected and gently pressed. Fermentation takes place in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. The wine is then aged on fine lees for several months.
