About the product
Hakushu is located in the Japanese Alps and was once the largest malt distillery in the world, with two huge still houses that produced a series of fires for blending. One of the still houses is still working today, but they have remained true to the principle of diversity. Nowhere else is there a comparable range of shapes and sizes of pot stills. The best-selling Hakushu is the 12-year-old. He has already received several awards. Nosing: A flowery nose, slightly smoky, with a little salt. Tasting: Great taste of toffe, fruit and peat smoke. Memories of Caol Ila are awakened. Finish: The finish is medium smoky, with dry notes of oak wood.
