About the wine
The Butcher Cuvée is a distinctive expression of Johann Schwarz's impressive transformation from butcher to top winemaker. With the support of friendly winemakers, he started his winery in 1999 and has since established himself among Austria's top winemakers. The strong cuvée shows intense aromas of black cherry, blackberry and fine roasted aromas, accompanied by velvety tannins and a harmonious structure. In the Magnum bottle, it develops particular aging potential and is perfect for social gatherings — a wine with character that reflects the passion and determination of its winemaker.

Dark ruby garnet, purple reflections, subtle water edge. Fine herb seasoning, dark berry jam, ripe plums, orange zest, chocolaty touch. Juicy, powerful, rich, elegant texture, well-integrated tannins, sticks very well, ripe cherries in the aftertaste, harmonious.
