Telavé Vermentino di Sardegna DOC 2024 - Jerzu Antichi Poderi

Antichi Poderi di Jerzu is the cooperative winery founded in 1950 in the south-eastern part of Sardinia, which enables over 400 small farmers to sell their crops at decent prices. The oenologist is Franco Bernabei, who has accompanied the winery for over twenty years and has made it one of the leading producers on the island. Vermentino is the most common white grape variety in Sardinia. They can be found in the very north and also down to Cagliari. The Antichi Poderi Jerzu get the harvest from their members, whose vineyards are scattered throughout the area and in small pieces, in the midst of intact, almost untouched nature. This wonderfully fresh and crunchy white wine is pressed from it. The aromas are reminiscent of citrus fruits.
