Tasting note
From the best plots of the Montemarano vineyard (550 m above sea level), the grapes for the Riserva are selected from vines over twenty years old, and only in the very best years. The harvest takes place in mid-November, i.e. after an extremely long growing season that begins in early spring. For this reason, the wine never looks overloaded, the Aglianico grape always retains its own powerful yet finely chiselled aroma, underpinned by an exciting sweet-acid mix. The tannins are present in a beautiful, finely woven way. An elegant monument!
