About the wine
This dominant Shiraz 2016 — Tato Tinto is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Sunny landscapes of the Algarve give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Portuguese winery Quinta dos Sentidos conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler promise a dining experience when you serve this Shiraz with roasted vegetables or game.

Tasting note
The tattoo is deep dark and has a purple glow in the glass. Intensely fragrant, pure and noble, it is reminiscent of dark fruits, cherry juice, flowers, some vanilla, cloves and smoke. On the palate, a wonderful balance of robust density, fine-grained texture, soft melt, fruit extract and juicy freshness. Long lingering with fine fruit. The wine exudes an unusual freshness and liveliness. A revelation from the Algarve!
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: Drink this red wine at a slightly chilled 14°-17°C. Flaschenpöstler tip: Tato Tinto goes perfectly with roasted vegetables, game and barbecues.
Vinification
Grown on barren, rocky and red soils. Highly yield-reduced vines, harvested and selected by hand. Fermentation in small, open steel tanks with manual immersion of the mash. 12-month aging in French Burgundy Piecen (228 liters), 30% of which is new. Unvarnished (no animal proteins). Unfiltered
