About the wine
Treat yourself to the senses with the delicious St. Valentin Pinot Nero DOC from 2015! The winemaker from the Italian winery Kellerei St-Michael is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originated in the blooming and fertile landscape in South Tyrol.

Tasting note
Bright ruby red with garnet reflections. Complex and sophisticated, with notes of small red fruits such as currants and cherries, accompanied by floral nuances of violets, spicy notes of vanilla and a touch of cocoa due to the refinement in the wood. Elegant and harmonious, characterized by fine tannins and a balanced structure. The palate experiences freshness and softness, with a pleasant persistence and an aftertaste reminiscent of the fruity and spicy notes of perfume.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with fried red meat, game and mushroom-based dishes. It also goes well with medium-aged cheeses and structured first courses, making it ideal for special occasions.
Vinification
The grapes are selected by hand and cold macerated before fermentation. It is aged in barriques for 12 months, followed by a further aging period in the bottle, which gives the wine complexity and depth.
