Il Roverone’s Single Barrique Fornaser Rosso Veronese IGT blends Corvina, Corvinone, and Rondinella grapes into a balanced, approachable red. Aged in single barrels, it offers a fresh, structured profile with vibrant texture and smooth layers—perfect if you’re after an authentic, crafted wine with real personality.

Tasting note
Intense ruby red, ripe red fruits on the nose, plum, cherry, sour cherry and some spices. The aromas are reflected on the palate. The wine has a balanced structure. It is powerful but very balanced despite the high alcohol content. The finale is very long and persistent. An exceptional wine
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with tasty first courses, all meat dishes and aged but not spicy cheese.
Vinification
The controlled vinification takes place in stainless steel tanks over 20 days at a maximum of 20 °C in order to extract the best components of the grapes. The wine is then aged in small oak barrels and barriques for at least 10-12 months.
