About the wine
Barbera was first documented in a document in the 13th century and is the most widespread grape variety in Piedmont. It was popular with winegrowers because it was robust, needed little maintenance and produced quite a few things without much effort even in the last few years. Quality over quantity was then an announcement in the eighties and the first Barberas conquered the wine world and were prepared for your completely new style, which we find in our Silentino. “Silent is golden.”

Tasting note
Ruby red color. A touch of violet, black cherry. Dry with spicy notes of vanilla and cherries. Fresh acidity and ripe fruit which are reflected in the aftertaste.
Vinification
11-day maceration. Fermentation at a constant and controlled temperature. After storage in stainless steel tanks, the wine ages in 30 hl barrels for approx. 9-10 months.
