Tasting note
The reader - youthful, clear, lively, fruity and inviting: ripe red berries, juicy and warm, meet delicate roasted aromas and fine notes that are reminiscent of fresh cream pastries. There is a certain seriousness in the very background, a whiff of black tea - tart, fragrant, even a bit mysterious. On the palate, it is fresh, pleasant and accessible, with a fine grip that is soft and velvety over the tongue. Superficially a light treat, but never banal - but full of charm, fine texture and quiet depth.
Vinification
Selective reading. Fermentation of the destemmed berries with vineyard yeast in used oak barrels, aging for 14 months in French and American oak barrels.
