About the wine
It's only been back at the forefront for a few years, but that's no wonder, but thanks to the courageous Daniel Wagner. After taking over his parents' winery in the 1990s, he led the winery with great passion and unwavering confidence with its excellent locations (15 ha) to the tip of Rheinhessen, where the sites at the gateway to Rheinhessen Switzerland were already there 100 years ago. Year after year, Daniel Wagner and his team work out the special features of the volcanic locations more precisely. The work in the vineyard (certified organic) is exemplary! Vibrant, mineral white wines, distinctive and large.

Tasting note
Clear, cool appearance, exciting start, tart and fresh, citrus fruits and stones, ethereal, iced candy, then calmer, deeper in the background, almost dark atmosphere, volcanic stone and tobacco. Flows smoothly, smoothly, quietly and yet firmly on the palate, wonderful harmony, soft, sweet, fruit, fantastic ripe acidity and mineral power, liquid stone, cool, beautiful flow and length. In the style of the already great estate wine, yet a touch bigger, more confident, more powerful and more elegant.

Selective late harvest by hand. Aging in stainless steel tanks and traditional, old barrel (oak).
