About the wine
At the beginning of the 90s, Christie and Peter Schulz decided to found their own winery and completed the transition from grape producer to wine producer. They transformed the old, historic butcher shop into their Cellar Door and thus into the heart of their Turkey Flat wine shop. The success was not long in coming: Today, Turkey Flat is one of the best companies in the Barossa Valley.

Tasting note
The Shiraz exudes aromas of violets, black fruits, spices and cedar, accompanied by subtle notes of moist earth and olives. On the palate, it is juicy and full-bodied, with fine, velvety tannins and a long, intense finish.

Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Shiraz passt bestens zu Wild, Barbecue und geröstetem Gemüse.
Vinification
After an extensive manual harvest, each plot is vinified separately in open fermentation containers. The wine is then aged for up to 18 months in 30% new French oak barrels (300 liters).
