About the wine
Sassoalloro Oro is made from Sangiovese Grosso BBS11 grapes, a clone of Sangiovese from the Biondi Santi family. The Biondi Santi family is primarily known for creating the cult wine Brunello di Montalcino. Sassoalloro Oro is another masterpiece from this renowned family. The estimated longevity is 30 years.

Tasting note
Bright ruby red color. The notes of cherry and violet come out clearly and gradually leave room for the aromas that come from the ageing of the wood. The spicy aromas are expressed with elegance and precision. Tannins are silky, dense and fresh. Long finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes well with typical Tuscan dishes, game and red meat.
