About the wine
With the distinctive Negroamaro 2016 — Santi Medici Salento Rosso IGT, nuances and accents are redefined. With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Castel di Salve masters this red wine in the blooming and sunny countryside of Apulia. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a dining experience when you serve this Negroamaro with pasta Bolognese or ravioli.

Tasting note
Francesco Winspeare produces almost exclusively the local varieties Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Montepulciano and Primitivo on his family estate at the southernmost end of the boot. One of his creations is the Santi Medici, a blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera. The radiant freshness, youthful and pure-toned expression that characterizes all Castel di Salve wines comes into its own here as well. Santi Medici is an uncomplicated and well-kept meal companion, soft, smooth and with appealing spicy-fruity notes.

Ein paar Worte zur Vinifikation: Francesco Marra und Francesco Winspeare produzieren auf ihren Familien-Weingütern am südlichsten Ende des Stiefels fast ausschliessliche die hier heimischen Sorten Negroamaro, Malvasia Nera, Montepulciano und Primitivo. Eine der neueren Kreationen ist der Santi Medici, eine Assemblage aus Negroamaro und Malvasia Nera.
