About the wine
Kozlovic vineyards — valley in front of the winery and first-class plots on a single vineyard near Buje — Santa Lucia — are carefully maintained and nourished from generation to generation. Therefore, the vineyards, the family and the winery form the same core. The story began in 1904. In the valley crossed by the Argilla spring, with our ancestors, our family still lives and works in Valle next to the vineyards and with them. Today, we plant native varieties — Malvazia, Muscat Momiano, Muscat Rose and Teran. We grow Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot from international varieties. Harvesting is done exclusively by hand.

Tasting note
Bright golden yellow of medium depth. Very complex and intense on the nose, peach, lemon, gingerbread, floral, mineral. On the palate, full-bodied and dry with a creamy texture, rich with lots of juice and melt, lush and ripe. The notes from the nose are repeated on the palate, perfectly integrated and supportive acidity, wonderful texture. The aftertaste is aromatic and very long. Grapes come from the Grand Cru site in St. Lucia. This Malvasia matures in oak barrels for twelve months, in steel tanks for three months and then in the bottle for at least 12 months.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled Steibutt, lobster, tuna or veal.

Manual selection of grapes, cryomaceration 5-6 days, pressing, fermentation Ageing: wooden barrels 50 hl for 12 months, stainless steel for 4 months, then aging in the bottle
