About the wine
The small, up-and-coming company Pietradolce focuses on local grape varieties and is becoming more and more important. The winery from the Solicchiata area belonging to the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, located directly on Mount Etna, has achieved cult status in a very short time. The winegrowing team Michele and Mario Faro — both passionate wine collectors and known as florists beyond the country's borders — focus on the autochthonous grape species Nerello Mascalese, Nerello Cappuccio and Carricante.

Tasting note
Golden yellow with amber reflections. The nose is rich, elegant and complex with aromas of aromatic herbs, tropical yellow fruits and flint. Deep, intense, energetic, fresh and salty on the palate, with a dense texture and a long and mineral finish.

Our recommendation: Enjoy this white wine at a slightly chilled 10°-12°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2020.
