About the wine
Tamborini Vini was founded in 1944 by Carlo Tamborini is now a firm fixture in Ticino. For 70 years, wines have been vinified and traded here with great skill and success. And always with passion and commitment to this incomparably beautiful region and its wines, in particular the charming Ticino Merlot. Today, Carlo Tamborini manages the fortunes of the family business in Lamone. On 23 hectares of vineyards and in several wineries such as San Zeno, a colorful range of wines is produced, from white to red Merlot, from uncomplicated and cheerful food companions to the large, impressive Quattromani.

Tasting note
Strong ruby red. Aroma of ripe red fruit such as plum, small wild berries and eucalyptus leaf with spicy, slightly roasted aromas and balsam notes. Nice and rich structure. With lots of beautiful tannins that mature and develop well
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with roasts made from red meat, hard cheese and semi-soft cheese, fresh sausages, pasta.
