Tasting note
The Sainte Rose Pinot Noir is essentially a cask selection of Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir. The wine is dark ruby red. On the nose, strong aromas of black cherries, ripe plums, blood orange, sweet spices, floral nuances, mocha and some menthol inspire. On the palate, the wine is complex, full-bodied and dense, with lots of black fruit aromas, sweet-spicy accents and well-integrated acidity. An almost creamy Pinot Noir with strong tannins and a long-lasting finish. Probably the heaviest Pinot Noir from Racines, which will certainly add to its elegance with some storage.

Goes well with beef bourgignon, grilled meat, game, stews, cheese
Vinification
All vines are cultivated according to organic principles. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented with natural yeasts and 50% of styles. The aging takes place for 18 months in 228-liter French barriques with approx. 25% new wood content
