About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Col d'Orcia is absolutely proficient in his craft. Tasting note
Rosso di Montalcino is a first-class second wine to Brunello. It comes with an intense ruby red in the glass. On the nose, it bewitches with notes of ripe raspberries, blackberries and some plum. In addition, there is a typical scent of violets and a subtle oak wood note. On the palate, it is full and structured. Wonderfully integrated tannin with a pleasant freshness. Long-lasting finish with perfect balance.

Vinification
Traditional mash fermentation for 10 to 12 days at a controlled temperature below 28°C in large stainless steel tanks. The subsequent aging takes place for 12 months in 25 and 75 hectoliter Slavonian oak barrels, followed by short bottle aging.
