Tasting note
A rosé d'assemblage whose base is composed of Chardonnay and white-pressed Pinot Noir, to which around 12-15% Pinot Noir is added as red wine. Aged for at least seven months in oak barrels. The inviting nose features aromas of red berries, cherries, sweet apricots and nectarines, plus some plum and blood orange, framed with floral spicy notes of rose petals, nuts and yeast pastries. On the palate, on the other hand, with great berry fruit, lovely freshness and subtle, mineral chalk tones in the finale.
Culinary recommendation
A great aperitif rosé, with a few “gougères”, ham croissants or marinated melon balls. But it also accompanies wonderfully delicious fish dishes such as lightly confitted salmon trout or zander tartare with lemon zest and pink pepper.
