Tasting note
This Arneis is bright straw yellow. On the nose, the strong aromas of ripe yellow stone fruit paired with some citrus and slightly spicy notes of green hazelnuts and Italian herbs are pleasing. On the palate, it is full-bodied with lots of melting and mineral freshness. The light fruit sweetness harmonizes perfectly with the vibrating acidity. A very classic Roero Arneis that shows all the advantages of this grape variety.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with antipasti, fish, seafood, white meats, medium-strength starters and Italian specialties.
Vinification
The grapes for this Arneis come from the oldest vines of the winery in the Roero region. The vines there mainly grow on calcareous sandy soils. After careful handpicking, the grapes are sorted again at the winery and then coolly fermented in steel tanks at controlled temperatures before aging again in steel.
