With this present Tempranillo 2004 — Rioja Reserva Especial "Evento" DOCa, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Fertile and enchanting landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Castillo de Mendoza conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. Tasting note
The fruity aromas of the Rioja Reserva Especial “Evento” DOCa of black cherry, chocolate and cooked blackberry express a lot of finesse with a very special structure. Next, the playful nuances of prune, clove and marmalade reveal their own character. With subdued, finely developed tannins, a strong body and fresh acidity, this fruity red wine presents its flawless texture. This top wine was awarded with: Robert Parker: 91, Int. Zurich wine awards: 90, GOLD Int. Zurich wine awards 2017.

Goes well with grilled meats, lamb and beef dishes, paella, mature semi-hard and hard cheeses
Vinification
30 months in new French barriques, followed by 36 months of bottle aging.
