This fresh Tempranillo 2014 — Rioja DOCa Crianza wooden box crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. The winemaker from the Spanish winery Marqués de Cáceres masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the enchanting and fertile landscape of the Upper Ebro. Tasting note
Ruby red color with aromas of red currant berries and cherries, along with light cloves and some cedar wood. Balanced with integrated tannins and a nice freshness.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grill, Mediterranean, kitchen, pasta/pizza
Vinification
90% Tempranillo, blended with a few other varieties. This Crianza is vinified in stainless steel tanks and then stored for 12 months in 60% French and 40% American oak barrels. The barrels are on average between 2-3 years old. The wine then matures in the bottle for another year.
