Vinification
After the successful Grüner Veltliner, the Vienna Mixed Set as well as the red St. Laurent and Pinot Noir, we couldn't resist expanding our Zahel portfolio with Riesling Ried Reisberg. The king of white wines has been selected and developed over the course of history from wild grapes on the Rhine. From there, it spread all over the world. Young Rieslings show a charming fruit with elegant stone fruit aromas of peach and apricot, plus lemony-fresh and exotic notes. With spicy acidity (5.5 g/l), the taste is racy and stimulating. In their “second life”, depending on the vintage, a few years after harvesting, Rieslings develop continuously and can be stored very well. The Ried 'Reisberg' is 40 years old. Acidity 5.9 g/l; residual sugar 6.3 g/l.
