The winemaker from the German winery Fritz Haag absolutely masters his craft. Tasting note
The slightly tart version always has a slightly higher percentage of residual sugar and, thanks to the crunchy Moselle acid, has a brilliant sweet-acid balance. The scent is also a bit more fruity than the dry estate wine, radiates a lot of freshness and a delicious Riesling fruit of grapefruit, lime and gooseberries. Wonderfully balanced palate, easy to drink in the best sense of the word and really fun. In the lively finish, it looks almost tart and drinks almost like a dry wine — a wonderful refreshment.
