Tasting note
Intense straw yellow, fine ripe Riesling nuances on the nose. Honey, vineyard peaches and citrus fruits dominate in particular. On the palate, it has a velvety texture with ripe acidity and a long finish. A typical Turckheim that only benefits from bottle maturation.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitifs, freshwater fish, poultry, saltwater fish, asparagus and vegetables.
Vinification
The high-quality location with vines over 50 years old produces only low yields. Classically aged in large wooden barrels, the Riesling Roche Roulée benefits from maturation lasting several months. It is dry vinified (Indice 1).
