About the wine

At the 500-year-old Zehenthof in Kammern im Kamptal, the Hirsch family is passionately dedicated to winemaking. Their philosophy: The soil makes the wine. The location determines the character of the wines, which is why only the Grüner Veltliner and Riesling grape varieties are used. The biodynamically managed vineyards reflect the strength of the region and produce wines with ease, excitement and vitality. Johannes Hirsch (Falstaff Winemaker of the Year 2011) and pioneer of the screw cap, creates true masterpieces from grapes from these special vineyards.

Tasting note
A top-class taste experience! This fine wine is presented in bright yellow green with shimmering reflections. Aromas of sun-ripened tropical fruits, pineapple and passion fruit combine with a touch of saffron and candied tangerines. This Riesling is juicy on the palate, while mineral nuances provide refreshing finesse. The finish surprises with fine white nougat and an impressive length.
