About the wine

The Quater Vitis Terre Siciliane from Firriato Casa Vinicola is a harmonious blend of four traditional Sicilian grape varieties: Nero d'Avola, Perricone, Frappato and Nerello Cappuccio. This red wine has an intense ruby red with purple reflections and develops aromas of blackcurrants, blueberries, chocolate and pepper on the nose. On the palate, it is dense and balanced, with a wide fruit bouquet, well-integrated acidity and soft, elegant tannins. The aging takes place over ten months in French and American oak barriques, which gives the wine additional complexity. Quater Vitis goes great with risotto, oxtail soup and pasta.
