Tasting note
70% Syrah, 30% Pinot Noir Light ruby red. On the nose, sweet berries, a bit of smoke, floral, spicy. Delicate, round and full-bodied on the palate. Blueberries followed by blueberries. The perfect accompaniment to vegetarian or other light dishes. Christian Gerber from Western Switzerland planted the first Pinot Noir grapes in southwestern France in 1987 as a reminder of Switzerland and made wonderful wines from them. Today, his son Simon is in the cellar and makes at least as nice wines. With Pinot Noir 2020, Simon won the silver medal at the Millesime BIO 2023 Challenge.
