About the wine
Cattleya Wines is the result of Bibiana González-Raves' great love for wine. Born in Colombia, she learned her craft in France before settling down in California after a few more stops and began pressing her own wines. Their constant goal is to breathe soul and character into the wines, which reflect the uniqueness of the terroir.

Tasting note
On the nose, the Russian River Valley Pinot Noir is characterized by ripe cherries, blackberries, wild herbs, spices and some forest soil. The medium body, which never feels heavy, is completed by supple, ripe tannins. Already very accessible, with lots of charm in the lingering aftertaste.

Vinification
The selectively harvested grapes (10% whole grapes) were fermented with natural yeasts. The aging and malolactic fermentation took place in French oak barrels (65% new wood) for 16 months. The wine was bottled in mid-February 2024.
