About the wine
The Azienda Agricola Fontefico is located near the seaside resort of Vasto, right on the Adriatic Sea in the wine-growing region of Abruzzo. The estate is spread over 15 hectares of land, on which 3 hectares are planted with vines. The range of grape varieties ranges from the well-known Montepulciano to Aglianico and the white specialty pecorino. Since 1996, brothers Nicola and Emanuele Altieri have been managing the winery with dedication and passion. Dealing with nature is extremely important to them; organic farming is a top priority.

Tasting note
Light straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose, balsamic notes of sage and chamomile. On the palate, citrus fruits, in particular grapefruit and peach. Very balanced aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with seafood, grilled fish or white meats. Also suitable as an aperitif.
