About the wine
This pure Nero d'Avola aged in oak barrels is the “Riserva” wine from the Ramaddini family. From the Olympus of our single-varietal wines, it reigns with its royal red and purple nuances and its wonderful scent of spices, vanilla and red fruits. His great personality is also expressed in an enveloping and balanced taste. It's no wonder that it is one of our most award-winning wines.
Tasting note
Compact and bright ruby red cherries and sweet spices, balsamic and iodine-rich. Full, round and balanced with fine tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aged cheeses, game, pot roast, beef tenderloin with green pepper sauce
Vinification
Graining and 8-day maceration with the skins, 12 months in steel tanks, 12 months in tonneaux, 6 months in silos after selecting the best barrels, 6 months in bottle.
