Tasting note
The Origen Blanco impresses on the nose with notes of pineapple and passion fruit, which give the wine an exotic refinement. Subtle nuances of macadamia nuts accompany the tropical aromas. On the palate, an intense bouquet unfolds, which reflects the characteristic aging in a concrete tank. The aftertaste is pleasant, long-lasting and velvety.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with seafood — from mussels to grilled pulpo or crustaceans such as lobsters or shrimps. A perfect companion to salmon — whether grilled, smoked, steamed or simply marinated raw. It goes well with vegetarian dishes — whether ratatouille, curries, pasta dishes or wok specialties.
Vinification
The Garnache grapes are harvested by hand. The Origen Blanco matures for three weeks without shell in steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 14 °C. Subsequent aging for 9 months on lees in 1700-liter concrete tanks.
