About the wine
Dieter Meier's new Ojo Negro Malbec comes from the “black river” and impresses with its very dark color and elegant bouquet. Beautiful... Oh yeah... Bow bow... chick... chicka chickaah!

Tasting note
Violet red, very dark color. Elegant bouquet with notes of blackberries, purple flowers, black tea. Compact and densely built wine with lots of breed, firm tannins, fresh acidity and nice, slightly salty minerality. Fine, long-lasting fruit trail on the palate with some graphite and pencil on the finish. Wonderfully reflects the terroir of Patagonia's rugged nature.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpöstler-Tipp: Goes well with wild rice, well-seasoned red meat and stuffed peppers. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 14°-17°C. The wine should be enjoyed during this period: now until 2025.
Vinification
Fermentation with grape yeast in concrete and steel tanks. Ageing in French barriques. Free from animal products - vegan certified.
