About the wine
The distinctive red wine 2021 — Negroamaro IGP is the missing puzzle piece on your wine rack. The winemaker from the Italian winery Torleanzi is absolutely proficient in his craft. Style and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny countryside of Puglia. The Flaschenpöstler promise a culinary experience when you offer this Negroamaro with venison goulash or pasta bolognese.
Tasting note
This Negroamaro shines in a deep ruby red with garnet reflections. On the nose, there are strong aromas of black cherries, dried plums and blackberries paired with spicy accents of pipe tobacco, coffee and liquorice. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied with sweet, dark fruit aromas, velvety tannins and a spicy and fruity finish.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pizza, pasta, Italian specialties, grilled dishes.
Vinification
The mainly old Negroamaro vines are rooted in soils with a high proportion of lime and clay. After manual harvesting, the grapes are fermented in steel tanks at controlled temperatures. The expansion takes place exclusively in steel tanks.
