About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2019, it is this strong Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 — Nearco Sant'Antimo Rosso DOC. With sensitivity and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Col d'Orcia masters this red wine in the fertile and blooming Tuscan countryside. Tasting note
The high-quality grapes are harvested at the time of ideal ripeness, with the Syrah grapes being picked a little later to give the wine additional complexity. After harvesting, the four types of grapes are fermented separately in stainless steel tanks for 20 days. The Nearco is then aged for 12 months in 225 liter barriques and 500 liter in Tonnaux.

Vinification
The Nearco comes into the glass with an intense ruby red color with purple reflections and immediately exudes beguiling fruit aromas of ripe black cherries, plums and a touch of fine spicy notes. Very dense, balanced and balanced on the palate with ripe tannin and pleasant freshness. The wonderfully delicate barrique notes give the wine a long-lasting finish.
