About the wine
The winemaker from the Portuguese winery Carm has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and refinement are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and magnificent landscape of the Douro Valley. With the fine Natural SO2 Free DOC from 2021, you will positively surprise your friends.
Tasting note
The Carm Touriga Nacional SO2 Free has a natural burgundy cherry color. The nose is fresh and intense, with notes of wild black fruit and black cherries. The aromas are complex due to subtle notes of vanilla. In the mouth, the wine is concentrated, with elegant tannins and a soft texture.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with grilled tuna, surf and turf and suckling pig. It also goes well with grilled vegetables, stew and raw ham.
Vinification
Fermentation took place in stainless steel tanks under temperature control between 24 and 26 ºC. The wine aged in French oak barrels for 8 months. Sulfite-free wine. The wine was subjected to a natural preservation process before bottling.
