Tasting note
Intense golden yellow. On the nose, beguiling scents of melons, oranges and apricots as well as floral nuances. On the palate, pleasant sweetness with medium acidity, beautifully balanced and elegant. Long aftertaste, with fine minerality.
Culinary recommendation
Great accompaniment to a tarte tatin, a “liquid” chocolate cake, ripe roquefort or a spicy brie de meaux.
Vinification
The Muscat grapes are pressed after harvesting and the must is fermented in steel tanks. By adding alcohol at an alcohol content of approx. 10%, alcoholic fermentation is stopped. This results in a residual sweet wine with an alcohol volume of 15%, which has a sophisticated aroma structure. Before bottling, the wine ages on lees with regular bâtonnage for twelve months in stainless steel tanks.
