Tasting note
This slightly sparkling dessert wine delights with its fruity, almost perfumed aroma of ripe peaches, freshly picked Moscato grapes and musk. The palate likes the pleasant sweetness paired with a fresh acid structure. A very drinkable joker also due to its low alcohol content.
Culinary recommendation
Perfect with panettone, Christmas and dry pastries, tarts, fruit desserts but also as an aperitif or with spicy dishes such as Thai cuisine.
Vinification
Sobrero's Moscato was first produced in 2008. Moscato vines, which are on average 35 years old, grow on barren clay chalk soil at around 180 meters above sea level. On the roof of the harvest, the grapes are gently pressed as a whole and the grape must is cooled down to 0°-1° Celsius degrees. Just before export, the must is fermented in a pressure tank up to 5 - 5.5 vol°, then filtered and bottled.
