About the wine

The Vaudanos. It only began in 1930 with Enrico. And now his sons and daughters, or their sons and daughters, are in the vineyards in Cisterna d'Asti and the region - and yet they stand out - to grow local varieties, from Roero Arneis to Moscato bianco to Barbera. And just like the grapevines, these winemakers are also rooted here. Of course, when it comes to the quality of their wines, they could scream louder, advertise more colorful, sell on. Just for what? Wouldn't that also uproot? That is how they think and feel, make contemporary and typical regional wines completely with themselves, right here, without extravagances: These are not big experimental or detached creations, no surprises, no pirates for blind samples, these are damn well-made wines for pleasure and enjoyment.

Tasting note
The feet in the lagoon — shallow water, the feet in the sand, the water lukewarm, the waves billowing but not throwing — that's how you feel here. Wonderfully fresh bites, yet refreshing, yet not cool, you smell the freshness, the rock, the bright, tart plants in this pleasant, warm, sweet holiday scent: sweet grapes that mean as much joy as relaxation. On the palate, the soft foam crowns, wonderfully rolling sand around the feet, that fine tingling in the comforting, sweet fear: grapes, citrus, what a nice feeling that is, a little stimulation and so much relaxation. Even we fall for the Moscato Dasti, wonderfully refreshing, deliciously sweet. Oh, that's nice.
