Morellino di Scansano Riserva Purosangue DOCG 2022 - Terenzi

The still young winery (founded in 2002) owned by the Terenzi family demonstrates the highest level of professionalism with its entire range (including two enchanting white wines and an excellent Bordeaux blend). Even the base wine, Morellino di Scansano, inspires us year after year as an accessible, light and harmonious table wine. The Riserva, on the other hand, meets the expectations that we set for a wine made from selected grapes in particular. It comes from older vineyards, including those that created the Terenzi s in their early days. The wine ages in wooden barrels, partly in so-called tonneaux of 650 liters (i.e. not 225 liter barriques), partly in large oak barrels. This is a process that integrates and rounds off the lush structure with juicy tannins without masking the fresh aroma with wood notes. The wine is extremely pleasing with a discreet opulence and is considered a real discovery.
