About the wine
Picturesque and fertile landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Franco M. Martinetti conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Tasting note
Dark ruby with purple reflections. Charming on the nose, with expansive fruit: notes of wild berries, sour cherries and warm herbs. On the palate, it has a rich, dense and concentrated structure. Tannins as well as acids are well dosed and in perfect balance. The aftertaste is balanced, long and deliciously juicy.
Culinary recommendation
Does Taglierini go with True? Eat, roast or wild fowl.
Vinification
The best portions of Martinetti's Barbera vineyards are used for this top wine. The manual harvest is followed by careful squeezing of the grapes and then maceration in stainless steel tanks. The young wine then matures for around ten months in 225 l barriques. “Montruc” means “my way,” inspired by Frank Sinatra's song “My Way.”
