About the wine
The Val di Foro is a valley between the Majella and the Adriatic Sea with a unique microclimate. This creates the perfect environment for growing a special grape such as Montepulciano. When planning the winery, care was taken from the outset to ensure that it merges with the surrounding area in order to keep the visual and environmental impact as low as possible. The wine cellar, which was recently built using the best technologies, is located in the middle of the vineyards on the south side of the valley.

Tasting note
Intense, dark and almost impenetrable red color. It is reminiscent of ripe dark cherries, plums and black currants. Elegant tertiary notes of tobacco, vanilla, licorice and black pepper. The balance between softness and tannins makes for a perfect and clean, harmonious finish.
Culinary recommendation
It goes best with red meat, grilled lamb, rib-eye steak and aged cheese.
Vinification
The grape harvest takes place late in the season and is carried out by hand in the last decade of October. Fermentation takes place with prolonged maceration on the skins. The wine then stays in contact with the fine yeast for 9 months in steel tanks, last 30 months in new French barriques and in the bottle for at least 6 months before being released on the market.
