About the wine
Umberto Cesari began his dream of viticulture in the 1960s with 20 hectares of vines in Emilia-Romagna. Today, Cesari has around 175 hectares of various grape varieties at his disposal to fully live out his vision of “art at the table.”

Tasting note
Intense ruby red, with a pronounced scent of raspberries and wild berries on the nose. A young, exciting wine with a large structure, round and velvety in taste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with spicy appetizers, minestrone, pasta dishes, red and white meats.
Vinification
The harvest starts after September 20th. After handpicking, the grapes are destemmed very carefully so as not to damage the berries. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks, at controlled temperatures, until the sugar is completely broken down. After the cream of tartar has been released, the wine is decanted, filtered and stored in Italian oak barrels for six months. Before being sold, the Moma is aged in the bottle for three months.
