About the wine
What a lovely connection. Hubert Bouzereau from Meursault and Marie-France Gruère from Chassagne-Montrachet. Children of long-established winemaking families. Since 1970 with her own winery, which is now run by her daughters Marie-Laure and Marie-Anne. Not a revolution, a careful modernization. Safe in tradition, fashions are not blindly imitated here, but the old age of the vines in the 10 ha of mostly excellent locations and classic expansion are appreciated. From natural cultivation, spontaneous fermentation and moderate use of new barrels, beatifying wines are produced here with great finesse and gentleness. A secret tip.

Tasting note
Weltenbürger - his appearance both confident and delightful: light green to yellow fruit, the dominance only hinted at as sparkle in the eyes: the fine minerality in the fruit and the generous charm: also cream and almond. And that hasn't been played. On the palate, the seductive superiority of the cosmopolitan and how emphatic he is about it makes him so attractive: elegant, creamy flow, white almond, coconut, and how subtle and intelligent in his dominance: such stimulating, never nervous minerality. You surrender and feel good. Great Meursault — intelligence and charm.

Vinification
Selective reading by hand. Fermentation with the vineyard's own yeasts, aging for 12 months in oak barrels, 25% new, with regular stirring of the yeast.
