About the wine
The winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodega Biniagual greets us with this wine, which he grows in the Balearic Islands countryside. This strong Chardonnay 2017 — Memories de Biniagual Blanc crowns every festive meal with elegance and finesse. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This Chardonnay is excellent to serve with goat cheese or poultry.

Tasting note
The straw-yellow Memòries with light green reflections impresses with its intense nose of tropical fruits, ripe stone fruit, some citrus and notes of meadow herbs. On the palate, the first start is very mild with hints of pineapple, ripe peach and lots of flavor. In the background, you like the vife acidity, which is in perfect balance with the intense fruit. A long-lasting finish with a pleasant freshness for southern conditions also delights pampered palates. An unusual wine that goes particularly well with Mediterranean dishes.

Vinification
After harvesting, the grapes are placed in boxes with a capacity of 10 to 12 kg and sorted out by hand. Before pressing by means of carbonic acid maceration, the grapes are gently pressed at a low temperature. Fermentation takes place at a constantly controlled temperature of 17 degrees in steel tanks. Timber construction is not used.
